36T Narrow Wide Chainring – Optimized for MTB and Single Chainring Setups
The 36-tooth chainring is designed for mountain biking and for riders using a single chainring who already know their ideal gear ratio.
If you're unsure about the number of teeth you need, we recommend using our 4x104 MTB standard adapter. It allows you to easily test multiple configurations.
On a mid-drive motor like the Bafang BBS01 or BBS02, the smaller the chainring, the higher the torque.
Switching to a 36T chainring delivers a 22% increase in torque.
