The 250W Tandem Kit is equipped with our famous 250W Freerider motor, delivering 55Nm of torque (30% higher than traditional 250W motors). The internal freewheel allows the motor to disengage when riding without assistance, letting you use your bike in manual mode without any drag. The planetary gear set is reinforced to handle the heavy loads associated with tandem use.
We recommend this kit for fit cyclists without excessively heavy cargo, as 55Nm of torque may feel light on a loaded tandem during steep inclines.
